Frances creates art and gilded glassware from her studio, the unique little blue hut in Hanwell, West London.

Painting and drawing in oils, watercolour, pastels and mixed media, she is inspired by our country’s seascapes and broad landscapes, especially those of Dorset and of Suffolk.

The old fishing boats resting on shingle beaches; the weathered colours, blues and pinks, lichen and rust against the wide, dramatic, ever changing cloud-filled skies.

Also the rich greenery of Hanwell and areas surrounding her home, the canals and the River Thames are themes in her work.
